At Love Bears, we decided to embrace cross-chain development in order to create a bridge between the Ethereum and Bitcoin blockchains. Our goal is to offer an expanded and diverse ecosystem for Love Bears collectors and enthusiasts.
WHAT IS ORDINAL?
Introduced in January 2023, Bitcoin Ordinals is a protocol that introduces a unique concept to the world of Bitcoin by allowing individual satoshis (sats) to be identified and transacted with additional data attached through a process called inscription. This breakthrough opens up new possibilities for Bitcoin NFTs, extending its use case beyond simple value transfer.
While NFTs have traditionally been minted and used on blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain, Ordinals recognized the potential for non-fungible tokens to exist on the Bitcoin blockchain. This has sparked its emergence, tapping into the future of Web3 where Bitcoin NFTs play a significant role.
